Unironically really fun. Putting aside the hentai parts of the game, I really like the character and the story, the OST is calm and relaxing and really nice, but most importantly the gameplay is actually enjoyable. The gameplay is really chill but it can be surprisingly difficult and enjoyable, such as the time management aspect and also the sex system.

Worth a buy for sure.

(Actually you should probably buy this game on sale, playtime is quite short since once you get all the items and abilities if you know what you're doing you can "beat" the game almost instantly)

This game is probably the most atmospheric, beautiful and immersive shooter I've ever played. Actually feels like I'm in a war, and I love it.

As a person with 0 fighting game experience, I am having so much fun playing with my friends. I was told by my more experienced friends that this game is much easier compared to other fighting games and it shows. After only 17 hours I genuinely feel like I'm not just trash that cannot fight against my friends, and I actually stand a chance against them. Whether or not that's a good thing is up to you, but as a beginner I'm very happy with my experience and am glad I can enjoy this game since the music and art is gorgeous.

Edit: I am currently floor 9 and I have only one thing to say. Why is the Anji matchup so hard! I literally have an easier time fighting monkey Sols than Anji freakin Mito!!! (Also Axl Low should be deleted)

Edit 2: I am currently floor 10 and man, the gap between 9 and 10 is crazy. Still can't fight Anji, and his recent buff doesn't help. (This time, Ramlethal IS SUCH A PAIN!!!)

Edit 3: 140+ hours in and after trying a bunch of FGs such as the older guilty gears, the OG Melty Blood, BlazBlue, etc., my opinion of the game has changed a lot. This is indeed the perfect fighting game for beginners because of how incredibly simple it is to pick up. However, I must say that it loses its worth over time. Eventually you realize how dry the combos are compared to other games, and I strongly dislike Strive's defensive options compared to other fighting games. The move lists are way too small and some characters feel either boring or straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to fight.

This game is worth it on Sale, but definitely not worth full price at all. If you are a veteran of more complicated fighting games I only recommend it if you have lots friends who play it and it has a big sale. If you are just getting into fighting games, it's worth it on sale.

I suck at writing formal reviews so I'm just gonna make it short and sweet:

This game is AWESOME! The campaign in itself is already worth its' price (man its so beautiful).

The multiplayer is absolutely amazing even in 2020! It's so not punishing and chill. I have a bunch of hours on Siege, CSGO, and TF2 and I have not had this much fun in an FPS in ages! If super serious, competitive gameplay is your thing, maybe the multiplayer is not for you, but I can guarantee you it is extremely fun. Also, 12 seconds to find a match (During peak hours) for a game made like 4 years ago is pretty amazing.

Heat Signature is a fun game for I'd say the first 5-10 hours. It gets very repetitive towards the endgame and only becomes fun for your average completionist, and even if you are the completionist, the achievements are quite easy.

Story and Lore:
There are 4 Factions. Offworld, The Foundry, The Sovereign, and the Glitchers. Your goal is to liberate the different nodes in each of the faction's territory, ultimately liberating the stronghold of the faction. Liberating nodes is quite simple, really, do missions, gain enough progress to liberate the next node. Other than that as the main hook of the story, there isn't anything much else. Characters come with personal missions, steal this, rescue him, kill her, and that's really the only thing about the characters that is unique, aside from the randomized starter gear. You can find a few NPCs to talk to after liberating a stronghold that provide a background on the inner workings of the Faction, but not that much.

5/10 Story.

Gameplay:
Hotline Miami, but with slow motion, and in space. You get a mission from the missions board varying in difficulty, and will pay more the harder it is so that you can purchase more gear for your character. Then, you get in your pod, fly to the ship, and lock on.

Once you're inside, you have to complete your mission. You can pause time and make whatever preparations you need to while paused. While learning it, it's very interesting, as the feeling of killing many enemies at once in one room using only a few wrenches is nice, but after playing the game for a bit, it again gets very repetitive. Pause, hit, move on.

There are various things to help you do your missions, teleporters that only work if there's an unblocked path from your character to your destination, teleporters that swap you with another person, and teleporters that bring you to your destination temporarily. There are things that make you invisible, make you 5x faster than everything else, give you a shield. There are only 3 types of guns, with a few characteristics making them unique. Basically, there's not a lot of gear yet in the game.

7/10 Gameplay.

Summary:
Sorry, I suck at writing reviews.

But as I said in the start, it's fun for a while, but get's very repetitive, not much else to do aside from the same old missions on the same 4 faction ships varying in size. I would only recommend getting this if you aren't limited to a small budget, like me. It's a nice quick fun experience but I have a very limited budget for steam, so if you have like, 5 bucks or something, save it up instead of getting this.

Overall: 6.7/10
