I previously wrote a very favorable review for this game, but in the past six months this game has devolved into a pretty unpleasant experience. They took our ability to select the map we want to play away, citing falling player-counts. The dev's solution to an insufficient number of people wanting to play the bad maps is to force everyone to play the bad maps.

Even worse, the number of hackers/cheaters you encounter is off the charts at this point. Every patch you see the return of flying cars and people drilling you fifty times in the head with an M416 at 100 yards out. At this point I'd say 90% of the players are at least running recoil reduction scripts.

The dev outight refuses to ping/region/vpn lock this game and as a direct result, has become a miserable experience. Then, to add insult to injury, one of my friends who ISNT a Chinese hacker got a ban. Whatever. Done with this turd. Will never buy BlueHole again.
