Outstanding visually and technically, but very mundane forgettable story and dull lifeless characters

S tier soundtrack

Very fun new survivors, very cool new maps, new items suck but they didn't ruin the balance which is good, only 3 new enemies, new boss fight is ok (def better than voidling).
If we ignore TONS of gamebreaking bugs, an overall okay DLC. Much much smaller than SoTV though.

F*ck gearbox for setting an impossible deadline and introducing all these bugs, making the game unplayable in some cases


Update after ~50 hours:
Changing it to negative, the only good things about it are new survivors and the maps. New enemies ALL suck, fighting enemies that disengage you is not fun, just annoying. New items are ALL trash, except 2 of them, they just delude the loot pool and make you find speed and damage items less frequently. New boss is absolute garbage, all his attacks are boring, and laser attack is just ridiculous. A sophomore gamedev could've done a better job designing it. New elite types are so bad it's not even funny: one of them is given GIGA hp and you can't continue with your run until you kill it because it steals your money, and the other one will kill you for having, you know, the the most fun thing in the game, the proc chains. No new mechanics, no new techs, no new good synergies or fun new ways to proceed with your run. Can't wait for a mod that removes everything but survivors and maps.

Cool idea and promising beginning. But there's empty linear world that you can't explore or go off track, wonky walking physics, none of the story characters felt real/reasonable/genuine, disappointing endingthat is by design anticlimactic, but still doesn't give insight into characters' motivation and actions

Add multiplayer 🙏

Don't look up anything else about this game, just buy it and dive into it blindly, it's worth it. I did just that, and it was one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've had.

So much wasted potential. Devs had everything: fun concept, fun gunplay, fun movement, the initial hype, the money, but they decided to tweak and update minor ♥♥♥♥ and let the game slowly die
