I really miss this game, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to play it, but now Epic Games has bought it and is using it as the next step on their path to attempting to gain a monopoly on the computer gaming sector. I've tried to ignore Epic and just let them be, after all I wasn't a fortnite fan so I didn't care that much for a while, but recently Epic has earned a very negative image. And what do they do next? They buy rocket league and make it incompatible with competing platforms. My feelings towards Epic have gone from negative in one dimension to negative in three dimensions. I wish I could play this game again, I had fun with it, but they've ripped support for it for no apparent reason and I've now lost all the money I invested in this purchase. Even if you're one of lucky few who Epic will allow to play this game, I suggest you avoid it and anything else that gives Epic money or good analytics, they have done remarkably awful things and do not deserve a share of your income.

@TheQuake well...hopefully you will have all your stuff back. and if it doesnt work with the refund or with the in game progress, like I said, talk to a lawyer about it if you can afford one :P

@SeaBeast I like your idea! I'm just going to request a refund, I do like the game, I had some DLC, and I made a decent bit of progress. But my controller broke so I haven't played in a hot second and I'm not too worried about my in game stuff. I'm requesting a refund so I'm hoping I at least get something back! The EULA probably had something allowing epic/psyconix to delete earned items. My brother plays on Switch and somehow still has his stuff. I don't know if I'd have a way to get my progress and items back if my computer could run the new "version," but the epic stuff straight up doesn't work on my computer. I've read online that, even if it did work, the best I could hope for is some in game currency, but being unable to try myself, I can't say what would happen...
