Early Access Review
Intro:
So, here I am, writing a review. I played through a boss, Shiro the Celestial, the first boss, I believe, may have misspelt it. I recieved this review copy from the developer, was going to buy it regardless however, since it seems to be a pleasant game overall. I'm pleased to report that my expectations were met, it is a nice game. Is it perfect? No, but that would make it a masterpiece, and those are almost impossible to achieve anyway. It set out to do what it wanted, and it's just getting started. I can see a lot of potential in this product, the boss list from what I've seen is not that bad as well. I'm not quite sure what it'll become, but I hope and wait to see the finished result with cheerful optimism.

Reaction:
I was presented the game as a "difficult" game, and, to an extent, it was. That being said, I've only done the first boss, so possibly been much easier than it goes on. Learning how the boss acts, its moves and how to react is quite fun. Learning and failing to dodge isn't an immediate game over, but it does make the game harder so a punishment system is there for the players who still need to learn how to dodge... such as I. I would love to play this game even more in the future, hopefully with friends as well.

A Simple Oversight?:
One thing I noticed though, and this very well could be an issue on my end, is that the game didn't hide my mouse cursor while I was using my gamepad, a xbox 360 controller. Not particularly terrible, mind you, since I could just move the mouse off screen. But it did strike as a oversight.

The tutorial and Key Mapping:
During the tutorial and the key map, the controls were shown as a "in your face" type of system, where they were presented as an all-encompassing scheme. To be fair, however, the only class that's different from the other 3 in terms of controls was Paladin, or the medic. The tutorial isn't bad, in fact, it was quite nice. After seeing the key map first thing, I tested out all the units on the test dummy and it allowed me to get into how the game works and moves.

Some Issues:
However, The controls don't seem to be 100% concise, but I once again say that it could be on my controller as well. When switching from one class to another, sometimes it wouldn't change and stay that class, one way to avoid that was to press the class on the opposite side of the d-pad, or simply pressing R2, which paused the game and allowed me to switch at my leisure. So far that's the only real issues that I've encountered, other than possibly more classes to play, and possibly more bosses. Which I assume will happen later in development, since it is still EA (Early Access). I would rather have the Developer work on the gameplay itself, though I admit doesn't need much more than what is presented.

Thoughts?:
As it is said in the "about" the controls are quite easy to learn, and I can definitely see the high skill ceiling. Each class is distinctly different from each other, in how they fight, their role, and how they support each other. But it isn't so difficult to learn that a person who specialized in healing will find it incredibly difficult to become a DPS dealer. The combat is a combination of bullet hell-esque homing rockets and attrition. Similar to World of Warcraft, or other MMOs of that calibur.

The Characters:
Each character is distinctly different from each other, not only in looks and art, but of how they play. For starters, the Demoness is a Melee Damage Dealer, doing a immediate DPS and has moderate defense, her speed is quite fast.
Paladin is a healer, damage is slow and cumbersome from this class, which makes sense, since the medic's main focus isn't on causing damage, but repairing it.
Bunny Mage is the DPS, the damage dealer, the glass cannon. He takes more damage than the others but can cause a huge amount of consistent damage.
The Tank, he doesn't do a lot of damage, or even really has that much in abilities, his main thing, is to take damage. I worry that players who play this class may get a bit bored while doing practically nothing but just soak damage.

Conclusion:
It isn't a bad game, in fact, I had a lot of fun playing it, I only wished I played it sooner. That being said, the local-only multiplayer is a bit restricting, and I sincerly hope they have online multiplayer soon. When that happens, then I feel that I will be able to enjoy this game much more and play it with my friends online.
For 7 dollars, it's not a bad product, that's just about the price of a big mac meal at McDonald's, and this game lasts much longer. So I'd recommend to buy it at 7 dollars, or even cheaper if it goes on sale.

It's a fun game if you think CS:GO is boring.

What can be said for Civilization 5.
At first, it was hollow, but through a long time, it became something that we can all play for dozens... hundreds or even thousands of hours without being bored. It is the product that can stand the test of time, as you rule over your game through adversity and the lack of content. It was built and shaped through mods and sheer determination. And over the years, we have grown to not only love, but to appreciate the absolute will of making one's destiny.
Through hours of hard work, preparing your mighty empire that will surely stand through time and into the future. You must ask yourself. "Why is it 3am?"

This is one of those games where you have a lot of fun until the very last moment. You REALLY wanna think this is a great game, and you'd be right for the most part. Excellent premise, good gameplay, great graphics, even for someone who has bad graphics card, it's not demanding for something that looks soo good.
But then, the music happens and it's sorta, lacking something, it isn't bad, but it's not quite great either. Then there's the gameplay, yes the FPS is in corridors and the like that's similar to Metro 2033, but honestly you'd need it to be in such of a place, it sorta fits. The story isn't too bad either, much better than some of the FPS games I've played, although nowhere close to Metro and other story driven FPS's. It does leave a sense of "disappointment" at the end of the game. Great level designing though.
Overall, I say yes on getting it and playing it, at 20 dollars? No, at 15? Yes, and if you're a fan of Metro, or Borderlands, even Fallout, then it's a must at 10 dollars.

I was driving from St. Louis to the other town, when one of my "friends" (I named them after my friends) shot me twice by accident. So I calmly pulled over by the side of the road, and shot him.
I didn't tell my friend in real life that I did that though.

The best parts of Simcity without all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from EA. GG, Paradox Studios won. Time for Maxis to know that the successor of Simcity made an honest to god good game.

I paid 13 bucks to kill racist fundamentialists on a floating city, then killed communist poor people revolting against said racist fundamentialists. Best Revolution simulator I've ever played.
In all honestly though, I like this one more than Bioshock... since I'm rather creeped out by being under water than above. I know, it's supposed to do that, but, there's less people crawling on the ceiling in Infinite.

One of the best micro-managing RTS's I've ever seen yet, there's practically nothing wrong with it except for one thing. Which is no skirmishes, and when I mean that, I mean skirmishes like what you'd see in 99% of the other RTS's, like R.U.S.E, Company of Heroes, Command and Conquer, etc. MoW: AS2 however, thinks that skirmishes actually mean a hybrid of the two, blended campaigns and skirmishes together to form a really flexible system of "skirmishes."
So, yea... I'd recommend it, but at the same time... that really makes it a downside for me, since I love going into a RTS, and just playing a skirmish, instead of doing missions in some campaign.
