Somehow managed to be even better than the first game.

Style is reminiscent of BLOOD, movement is similar to Quake 2, all of the weapons feel fantastic and the levels are fun to traverse - one of the best old-school shooters I've played. Really liked the lack of hitscan enemies since it gives you a reason to actually move and dodge instead of sucking your thumb behind a box. Projectiles are still nasty on Cero Miedo though.

The gameplay overall is much better than TNO in that there is a much wider variety of playstyles supported; stealth, sniping, and AR/shotgun spam are all viable throughout the majority of the game, with ammunition almost never in short supply. Also, BJ doesn't drop his weapons for no reason after every mission anymore, which is a significant improvement.

The story is basically garbage and it seems to be written around the new mechanics introduced rather than the opposite, but that doesn't matter too much because the game still preserves all the brainless Nazi slaughter you'd expect.

It's like Human Revolution but worse in every way.

Visuals are great and it feels ok mechanically but the near-complete lack of content and communication from TWI is dropping interest pretty darned fast.
