Batman Arkham Knight

Updated review 6/6/20

One of the best if not the best Batman ever created. Gameplay is amazing, a lot of new moves, finishers and abilities.

Throughout the whole game you will feel like you are the Batman, various different ways of taking down enemies that will challenge you to show some creativity. Making use of the stealth takedowns and multiple gadgets. Inspiring fear and striking without even being seen, something the game perfectly covers.

Here are a few things I loved that were not in previous games.

  • Fear takedowns
  • High combo speed
  • Environment takedowns
  • Batmobile (although it's a bit overused we still needed it)

The game had a lot of down sides when it first released on PC but nowadays it's running smoothly, graphics are awesome and I have not experienced frame drops playing the game maxed out, even with Nvidia features enabled I easily reach 144 fps in most areas.

The Batmobile is a great add to the Batman Arkham saga. I was hyped about it, but if i'm being honest it was bit of a let down that so many quests required the batmobile in order to complete them. Especially those drone fights, whoever had the idea to fill blanks with drone fights in a Batman game should feel ashamed.Even more when long awaited boss fights end up in a batmobile fight.

But nevertheless I felt like I was the Batman during the entire story.
I advise you to spend some time practicing in AR challenges before going straight to the game, you'll have an even better experience.

Thanks for developping this game! Hopefully there's more to come in the Batman Arkham saga, looking forward to explore Gotham in between Origins and Asylum storyline.
