Mechanicus is a good tbs game, it works, the only problem that I see is that missions can get repetitive. Aside from that, I really enjoyed my experience with this game.

Remember the last time that you contemplate the futility of life or the time when you felt depressed after realizing that you can't be prepared for every situations that you face? This is kinda the same.

It has permadeath, unforgiving random encounters and quite the unfair mix of events. Fun, just like life.
