W.r.t. Risen 2:
I really really like RPGs, so let me just put that out there first. I'd say its worth $5 if you liked say...Two Worlds I/II or the Divine Divinity series. Its kind of janky at times and the skills system is a little wonky but if you need to kill a lot of time on the cheap it'll get you there.

Yeah I'm diggin' the ♥♥♥♥ out of Trine 1 thus far. The whole "draw magical planks" and grappling hook thing had me sold in like 5 seconds when I tried the demo. :)

When I had a better laptop, I played Trine 1, and it was pretty awesome. I can't run either on this laptop, unfortunately. But yeah man, solid pickups.
