Pretty good, and getting better with every update! Solid follow-up to Vermintide with a great 40K atmosphere, and a very satisfying moment to moment gameplay.

Great to be able to cross-play with friends who have the game on console, and since it's on Game Pass, it's a low barrier to trying it out.

Jesper Kyd's soundtrack elevates it all to 11, expect to head bob <3

Early Access Review
Beautifully designed

This is one of those experiences in which you can feel the passion the developers are putting in.

It's extremely stable and its core features are very polished. This should be the state in which Early Access games are when opening for public testing. Really looking forward for what's to come.

Non-punishing design:
- Building costs are refunded when you demolish something.
- Repairs are free! (at the appropriate station).
- Even some of the 'set backs' (such as dying) have layers to make it less obtrusive.
All of these design decisions makes it a wonderful experience.

Playing together:
- Playing solo is fine.
- The game shines when played with one or two close friends (on your first experience at least).
- The resource gathering and 'survival management' is less cumbersome together.
- The feeling of overcoming the challenges before you feels very much earned.

Got killed plenty by enemies, which was expected, but what really did me in was the level up menu being bugged and taking all my souls without increasing my attributes.

Like with a lot of media recently, some experiences are best enjoyed fresh, without other people's opinions. I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone to try the game and draw their own conclusion.

I would recommend playing it with headphones and a controller.

This is the first 'XCOM-like' game I have played, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

The mix of free-movement exploration and turn-based combat on a grid makes it feel much more alive than I expected. During the first half-hour or so I had some difficulty controlling the camera, but once you get the hang of it (and possibly tweaking the sensitivity) it's perfectly fine. The game is challenging at points, even on the lowest difficulty settings, but with some planning and the right equipment everything can be overcome.

The premise is interesting and the characters manage to convey the mood of the world quite nicely. It also has a generous amount of swedish easter eggs and in-jokes.

It was really engaging until the game crashed almost every time I encountered a loading screen. Saw some suggested solutions online, couldn't get them to work. Unfortunately the joy is now as dead as the hordes of demons that lie behind me.

Hacknet is a wonderful little game that makes you feel like you know something about hacking.

You should definetly give this game a chance even if you don't really understand how computers work. The game does not hold your hand completely, but thanks to the tutorials and information you can find in-game you will be able to play even if you have never touched a command interface before. Curiosity and willingness to learn are more important here!

If you enjoyed the silly and overly-convoluted hacking movies of the 90s and 2000s, this game is a good middle-point between that and reality. Thematically fitting effects and a great soundtrack makes the experience extremely immersive.

And it's a story-driven game! And kinda deep at points too. Without going into spoiler territory, the depth of some missions has left me wishing for a bigger and better Hacknet 2.

Edit: And of course there's a whole workshop full with user generated content!
