Does anyone else struggle saying the word 'divinity'? Divinity: Original Sin 2 doesn't just improve upon it's predecessor... Dos2 perfects it. This game is not another copy and paste of fantasy elements into a new clunky engine. No, Larian took it a step further and innovated the fantasy genre, bringing it to new levels of strange and interesting.

Create your own DnD/fantasy inspired 'sourcerer' or choose from one of 6 fully-voiced vanilla heroes. As you journey across this fantasy world you'll battle monsters, fanatical 'magisters' and other fantasy villains on your way to DIVINITY. Divinity: Original Sin 2 features multiple small, jam-packed open-world areas to explore. Hidden among these sections are your classic ruins and caverns containing powerful foes and even more powerful loot. DoS2 frees you in the world space to do as you see fit. Keep in mind the world does not scale to you, and depending on how nifty you are: you may find yourself in an unwinnable situation.

Deep, diverse and memorable characters? Check. Compelling romance, companion stories and side quests? Check! Rich narrative with branching paths, meaningful choices and interesting villains? CHECC! Though what makes this game is a narration performance to rival Morgan Freeman in 'March of the Penguins.

After three full play-throughs: 2 single player and 1 co-operative, I experienced very few glitches and no plot holes. So what are you waiting for? Go in solo and bring 3 companions with you into the heat of battle or join your friends and race to become DIVINE.
