I can't believe I have put almost 100 hours into the game and not written a review yet, so here we go.

This game is simply amazing. That's all I should really have to say. The world is beautifully designed so you can explore to your hearts content and always find something new. There have been times where I booted up the game just so I could walk around and take everything in (which is why it took me around 40 hours to get the fastest ending) and find every little secret Team Cherry put into it. The games art style as a whole is very cohesive, and nothing seems out of place.

The combat for the game is fluent; every scenario is like a dance between you and the enemy, reading and understanding their attack patterns, listening for audio cues, and striking at the perfect opportunity. While fighting certain enemies can get incredibly frustrating, every mistake made is your own and can be learned from. And when that frustrating enemy is finally vanquished, and the wave of joy has settled slightly, you'll think: "Alright, who's next?"

This game's soundtrack is probably one of its best features. When starting up the game for the first time and entering the "tutotial" area there is no soundtrack, since you have not truly begun your journey yet. One you enter Dirtmout (The Fading Town), the soundtrack begins with a lonely and slightly sombre tone to it, since the once busy place you have just entered is now abandoned and "fading." Every other song ties in to their respective area or event. For example, places of rest are calm and peaceful, while bossfights are loud and fast paced.

That's all I had to say. This game has very quickly become my favourite game, and I cannot wait see what Team Cherry makes next!
