MANY THANKS to the dev team for bringing us Stalker 2.
I could say many many things in detail but i'll go shorter for the sake of simplicity.
-You guys made me feel like I was back in 2006 again. And that's something that no one has yet archieved. Not even the bigger AAA studios. And I mean it. Pretty damn good job guys. You nailed it.
I found Cordon by accident and I couldn't avoid losing myself and visiting my old places :) This game was a gift for some of us.
Long live for The Zone!

Used to play Quake II in the 90s on my 233 MHz Pentium II ON SOFTWARE MODE.
All I can say is:
+Machine Games expansion (out of bounds quality) along with the 2 old expansions + Quake II 64. All of it integrated in the base game. Not a different .exe
+MP lobby with coop LAN or Public with interesting MP new mechanics.
+That f****ng soundtrack dude
+Graphical improvements are completely adapted to the classic asthetics. No modern fancy funky s**t.

This is how a reboot of an old classic should be like. Just like they did with the first Quake few years back. Excellent work. Totally worth it.

I'm a STALKER fan since it was released and here's my response on why I CAN'T recommend this.
1) The progression system (aka forcing you to do quests to progress) is broken as if you are a BANDIT, youll die constantly in Cordon cause they force you to go to certain places to die to stalker campers all the time. (24/7 campers) Was like this during the Beta, and still today is like this.
2) The loot system is wrong. Killing 9999 dogs and pigs shouldnt be a way to earn equipment. Thats not STALKER. Thats grindy and senseless. Put droppable weapons and gear and free looting and you will like definitely push the game up.
3) Graphics are not bad, I'm not into blocky minecraft aesthetics, but still is passable, has very nice exteriors and armor designs are great.
4) "Skill" tree is horrendous. I don't wanna farm for hours and hours and have to go through armors that I don't like to get the one I like. Same with weapons. It makes no sense.
5) The storyline is not bad, in fact it offers a new approach into the Zone. So thats another good point.
6) Pvp system is good (except on case 1) and pve is too except the mindless dog, rat and pig slaughter.
7) Weapons and items balance makes sense.
8) Music is very good.
9) Its FREE, so I'm grateful for that.

RESUME:
So aparently I would actually like the game. If it wasn't for the nonstop campers that doesnt let you progress, the progression / tree system that makes absolutely no sense at all, and the grindy farming thing to earn a few items.
I couldn't go pass Cordon. I play with friends and we are adults, we don't have time to waste because the team B has much much much more advantage on the 2 initial maps. (its pretty unbalanced) and those are the reasons why I uninstalled the game and I'm no way into trying it again unless all those things change. IF they change... because its slightly better than the beta.

I would recommend this to any fan of zombie apocalypse, George Romero style, in which there are a lot of interesting & complex mechanics on top of the table.
This is not a zombie game, this is a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE SIMULATOR.

I absolutely recommend this to anyone who likes the idea of space travel, interplanetary expeditions, exploration, or even creating a stellar system from scratch and mess around with the engine.
It's a sci-fi sandbox / space simulator.
Basically, the things you'll be missing in vanilla you'll find em for sure in the Workshop. VERY active community.

I think it's kinda soon for me to make a review but anyway. This is a WIP3OUT revival. Which means it isn't a remake but a recreation in terms of design and gameplay. I couldn't say anything bad about this game. It feels the same as wip3out, smooth flying, easy to handle even in keyboard, looks great and feels very very good and legit overally speaking. Good price, open modding community, god, why didn't I discover it before?
THANKS DEVS, you did a great job. And that's something I can't say with any of the 90% games I've played lately. Cheers to you

It's too early to put here a review but, as far as I've been playing there are things I totally loved and things I didn't like. I like the remade monsters from the classics, the former humans, blue blood cacodemons, arachnotrons, etc plus the plasma rifle. And also the gameplay it's actually interesting. In Doom '16 you could save ammo by using the pistol and you wouldn't ever run out of ammo. In Eternal you gotta use the f**** chainsaw. Otherwise you will run out of ammo in seconds. And that's good. Players are forced to play fast and do the right combos quicker to survive in brutal fights. That's my second favorite aspect of the gameplay itself. I didn't like the excessive plataforming stuff, the lack of variety and customization of your character and the lack of free movement. Yes, maps are bigger but there's still this forced only solution for the problem. And one thing that creeped me out was when I got my rocket launcher and logged off, next day hadn't have it. Simple as that. One day I had the weapon, next day don't. And I had to keep playing without it. It won't spawn again.
As least, I will say clearly what this game needs:
-1: Map editor (classic Doom community is still alive thanks to the thousands of billions of maps made by players)
-2: Multiplayer coop.
My score to this game is a 8'5 out 10. Words? Leaving the cake in the furnace a bit longer would have bring a far more polished result.

PS: Completely loved the new cyberdemon and the archvile :)

This game is a reboot of Fallout Tactics. You can play solo or multiplayer, highly customizable (maps, items, avatars etc) It's really open and easy to create mods. I'd give it a 8 out of 10. 10 being Fallout 1 as reference. Which is pretty good. I mean, I'm not a dev or anything at all. Not trying to fool anyone. But this game should be f*cking crowded. It's amazing. I'm gonna list down here both, good and bad things I've seen so far.
In fact, is the MOST ACCURATE FALLOUT SUCCESOR. Any, and I repeat, ANY Fallout fan should play this as you will have the same feeling.
Game's not perfect. And needs more improvements. But what it mostly needs its PLAYERS and some community modding. So please, don't be an *ss and support the devs so they keep making content. Don't let this fall apart as many other projects did. It's unfair that other companies make 4k games with so poor content with fancy look while independent game studios struggle with a BETTER PRODUCT. It's so unfair and nonsense.

GOOD STUFF:
-Super easy and fast lobby / MP games.
-The game is actually very balanced. Both in MP and Single player.
-Graphics are cool, not great, but they are like all what you need. No fancy stuff. Fair enough
-Music (along with the name of the game itself, like one of Brian Fargo's OST from Fallout) It's nice and fits perfectly, as it should be.
-Gameplay is very good. It has all mechanics from Fallout Tactics with little exception for useless mechanics it had. Like Turn Based. Now you have only real time combat which makes it harder. It does has more improvements tho, not exactly the same.
-Cooperative missions (thanks for this, really)
-Map editor (super easy to use and understand, low IQ included) and tools to make mods.

BAD THINGS:
-Main Menu picture and music doesn't fit with the game. Should have some ambient tune like the ones you have in-game.
-Needs more content, overall, maps, characters, avatars, SP missions, etc
-Can't create private LAN games.
-Needs more types / races of enemies.

Why this game is pretty much better than others of the same genre? Simply. CryEngine.
The natural landscape is stunning, underwater effects, landmark textures are amazing. Among the best. Also, has better optimization than Rust.
I totally recommend this game.
Although, it needs things to be fixed.
