good game very neat

Literally the most interesting, unique, and engaging visual and sound design I've seen in a game in years. For fans of other surrealist experiences like The Neverhood or its sequel Armikrog, Hylics 2 I'd say is absolutely picking up. As a sequel to Hylics, it fills in many of the gaps in worldbuilding that may have been due to lack of time, lack of effort or investment. On top of that, it builds upon that framework extremely well, becoming less of a quirky RPGmaker game and more of an independent product. It does have issues however, a lot of the platforming is spotty and some sections of the game emphasize it heavily, which does not work to its favor. But what the game lacks in gameplay polish, it more than makes up for in atmosphere. It might seem like the game could be rushed despite its delayed release. Still, I'd recommend this game to anyone interested. 9/10
