The story is captivating, i'm loving it so far and it feels like i've barely scratched the surface. The graphics are wonderful.

The only downside i've found just now is the aiming system, it doesn't bother me too much but when facing multiple enemies it gets a bit clunky. I like the combat though!

To everyone that was outraged that this was another full game - get a grip of yourself. You already had Spintires 1 = so you got 50% off. For that you get new graphics, new vehicles, new maps, new game modes. Tell me another game where you get that much new stuff for that little price.

For everyone new, the game is awesome! I'd thoroughly recommend it, you'd be hard pushed to find a better physics model for any driving game. Hopefully mods will come thick and fast now the games out.

All in all I'm very excited about this game, it really is a motor enhuastiasts dream, much to my better halfs knowledge I'll be sinking hours in..

I eagerly anticipated this game and then watched it flop at launch. I was pretty dissapointed - now a year later i decided it was worth a go on the sale price and with the new updates.

It's bloody fun! I feel like i've barely started the game, just discovered and abandoned ship i'm trying to salvage.

++++ It's ace, pick it up! I believe many more updates will come, and it'll only get better.

Exactly what we needed for Japanese and Drift enthusiasts.

Car customization that we've all wanted, hopefully as the game develops more rims and modiciations will appear. Engine swap whatever you like, and the physics are very fun too. A little refinement and this will be perfect!

Early Access Review
I was sceptical about Starbound; the trailer didn't show a whole load, and the screenshots didn't seem to do the graphics any justice at all. Having played Terraria and Minecraft i wasn't sure how different the game would be to both of them (getting bored of playing both of these titles as there was little storyline etc).

However i'm glad to say that all expections were well and truly blown out of the water. This game is GREAT! The graphics at 1080p on my 32" TV are really spot on, the menu's look beautiful, the game is very well presented. To compliment the visuals the soundtrack is also awesome, very atmospheric.

Not only are the visuals and soundtrack great, the gameplay is really what draws you in. The story is fun and in depth; creating your character from various races (each with their own backstory & lore) gets the ball rolling. The tutorial at the start is challenging and doesn't just take 10minutes to complete, however the tasks are not mundane at all. It's hard to explain really how much there is to do in this game, there are infinite planets to travel to, theres quests to do, NPC's to interact with, monsters, super in depth crafting etc etc, the list goes a very long way on!

I would thoroughly recommend this game to anyone; especially those "on the fence" about whether they should buy it or not. Fully worth the price. I still haven't tried multiplayer/co-op either.
