What a shame. I'd only just started to enjoy this game when it was bought out by a crypto currency company who wants to use it as a platform to push NFTs.

I haven't played this game in years, so I can't comment on any recent microtransactions.

But it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disgusting that on a gaming platform, people are legitimately downvoting what is an amazing, fun, well crafted, and quite frankly beautifully done, game because of something a dev said.

"I DONT LIKE YOUR POLITICS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

Shut the ♥♥♥♥ up, if you like it or if you don't like an opinion, who cares. No one here cares. Tell us what you think of the game. Which if you're going to be honest is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. Well over 80% positive before a certain comment.

If you're thinking about buying this game, base your decision on the fact that it's challenging, it's fun, it's gorgeous, and if you're a twitch streamer the integration is amazing.... not because a bunch of snowflakes were triggered.

Listen, I'm not going to lie.
I'm a pro gamer.
But if you can't rock the MLG plays like I do, and you want to experience the awesome potential of this game, and you want to use an autoclicker program... I won't judge you.

Gameplay wise, well done game.

BUT....

I wake up, my entire life revolving around working for a massive corporation that obviously doesn't care about me. I preform semi meaningless tasks repetitively, day in, day out. My interactions with my single coworker are one sided as I silently listen to him ramble or talk about my job. Then at the break of the new day I find out that the work I did the previous day doesn't even cover my daily fees and I'm deeper in debt than I was before.

Sorry, this is just a little too true to life for me to enjoy the game play.

Ugh.

Take one part FTL: Faster Than Light, and mix in a healthy helping of Slay the Spire, then add just a tiny pinch of Halcyon 5's graphical style and you get this roguelike deckbuilder card combat game set in space. While some of the strategies in the game appear to be more or less valid than others, there's enough there to make the time spent worth it. Overall the gameplay feels both familiar and fresh at the same time.

I've played it for 2.5 hours in one sitting, and I am sure I'll come back to it more in the future.

This isn't so much a game as a bit of relaxation software. Think of those little desktop zen gardens with the sand, rake, and rocks.... yeah, that's what this game is. It's a way to distract your mind and let your creativity kind of be free for a little bit. It's lovely, it's relaxing, and it's refreshing.

I shot a dude till I could mind control him, then I used him to shoot other dudes, then when all the dudes were dead, I telekenetically threw a fire extinguisher at the dude I convinced to help me out, and then shot him.

10/10 would SCP again.

I bought this for $1.50

It's a standard cart racing game, but with garfield.

It plays well. Buy it or don't.... I don't know what you really expect for $1.50
