Almost the thematic opposite of Magicka, this is a fantastic RPG for those of you who love classic RPGs. Where Magicka strips every element of from a traditional RPG other than combat, Recettear does the opposite. Extensive item management, a wealthy economy system, and a fairly standard J-RPG storlyline greet you in this game. While there is a combat / dungeon crawling aspect to the game, you can 100% skip it and focus on the buisness of the game, which is item management and running your own store in a fantasy game world.

While the only complaint I have is that you really need a joypad to play this well, you can't use a mouse/keyboard combo. Using the keyboard alone to navigate works, but feels clunky. So if you don't have a joypad, it can be tedious. However despite this one flaw, Recettear is ultimately enjoyable and worth the price of admission, I reccomend this game to anyone who likes the olderschool RPGs.
