It's SO hard to give this game a 'do not recommend' rating, but I have to. Because my thoughts are that you shouldn't buy this game YET.

The core game play loop is fantastic, don't get me wrong. The graphics are gorgeous, the sounds are wonderful. There's so much to love about this game.

BUT... then there's what's wrong with the game. It's just not balanced yet. The time you wait for gold primarily is the major sticking point. For some reason you have to pay a family fee, which drains gold out of your budget, and I feel like if it weren't for that, the game might be perfect. But as it stands, you just wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait. Want to build condos? Have fun waiting for the 300 gold you need, as you earn 24 gold a cycle. This game is supposed to be a village simulator, let us build and play with our village! Stop with the economy drain just to lengthen the game play loop!

I'll come back and give this game another go at some point in the future, but it really needs to let people play the wonderful game that they've created, and not just be stuck in a waiting sim.
