Helldivers 2 is an amazing game. Is it perfect? No, it has some bugs, a couple of the devs have said some questionable things but, those same devs are passionate about making a fantastic game that is fun to play. Best when enjoyed with friends, the game is filled with action movie quality moments as you desperately try to complete objectives and extract with the samples you've acquired throughout the mission. Best of all, the community is pretty wholesome, coming together to even get the publisher, Sony, to budge on requiring a PSN account. The game is balanced well, constantly updated, and while there is some purchasable content, it's neither required or overpowered. If you are a fan of 3rd person shooters, managed democracy, and an excessive amount of explosions then you'll have a great time. 10/10 would actually recommend since Sony backed off.
