Do you remember as a young kid (thus not very versed on how games actually work) , being extremely excited about a video game, and day dreaming about all the (false) possibilities in said game?

I imagine Chris Hunt, the person mostly responsible for Kenshi, experienced the same. Except this madman decided to dedicate 12 years of pure talent, passion, and drive to make that dream actually come true.

Don't be fooled by the graphics. This game is bigger and deeper than any AAAA game could ever be. Like Mount and Blade: Warband, the innate jankiness just adds to its infinite charm. The game's tone/writing is also very Fallout 1-2, which makes for an often hilarious experience despite the cruel ingame universe.

If you used to have a 1k long 'realism' mod list for Skyrim and Fallout 4, Kenshi is really the game you wanted to play all along.
