[REVIEW UPDATED]
After discovering Forza Horizon 4 last year (shame on me I was so late to the party) and loved it, I told myself that as soon as FH5 will be available, I will buy it. And I did it. I even preordered it so I can download it early to play ASAP. Full price on Steam, 60 Euros. Told myself that if it will be at least as good as FH4, it will worth every cent. Long story short, it's not...yet!

So I entered in a beautiful game with nice graphics and great music just to find a sh*t load of bugs. 2 weeks passing (meanwhile players abusing all kinds of bugs to jump the leaderboard) and the first big bugfix arrives. It made the game a little more "playable". At least now the Online part of the game works. After this, small bugfixes arrived with some bugs fixed, but most of them ignored.

Now, after 3 months of existence, you would think it addressed most of the game-breaking bugs, right? NO! Here is what is wrong with this game now:
1. Game crashes when you exit the garage. Still no fix after 3 months!
2. Stuttering after a time ingame. It appears the game doesn't know how to clear old cache and it burdens the graphics card. Still no fix.
3. The house you buy with 5 million credits to get 1 free daily spin doesn't give you a free spin daily! It gives you a free daily spin when the game wants, if the game wants.
4. THIS IS, FOR ME, THE WORST PART! The Support Team is understaffed/overburdened/ignorant. Hear me out:
Last week, after 100+ hours of gameplay, I enter FH5 just to see the intro screen letting me choose a name and with all my progress lost. No cars, no level, no credits, no forza points, nothing. I contacted the Forza Support Team via ticket system, Twitter and Facebook and after 1 week I don't have any answer. Not a single word. And I'm stuck now with 100+ hours of progession lost and I can't just jump into the game and redo all the races, all the achievements, buy all the cars. I just can't.

[UPDATE]
After 1 week of tickets & messages on social media I've recieved a reply from Support Team.
"Hello, we understand how frustrating it is to lose data and/or have your save game data corrupted. So that we can better assist on this matter, please click the following link: Lost Save Article and complete all of the steps provided. Once you've completed the steps in the article, please reply to this ticket and let us know to continue support.
Due to technical constraints, unfortunately, we cannot restore any lost progression such as experience and campaign completion. However, we can return your inventory which can include but is not limited to cars, credits, and/or wheelspins.
This process is only available for Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5."

After that, I've deleted the save files, reinstalled the game and waited another 3 days until I've got this message:
"Hello, Unfortunately, we are unable to restore any lost progress. However, we have returned your inventory, including any cars, credits, and wheelspins you acquired from your previous save. Once you unlock the ability to access online functionality, you can retrieve the items we've sent by pausing the game and navigating to My Horizon> Message Center> Gifts. Please note that if you had a large inventory, you will only see 522 messages. In this case, please download the items one by one, delete any you do not want/need, and then reboot the game so the remaining gifts can populate.
We understand how frustrating it is to lose your progress and restart the game from the beginning. We hope this reimbursement of your inventory will get you back into action as soon as possible.
Thanks for your patience, and we'll see you in the game!"

After that I've recieved 500+ messages on Forza with each car, clothing, horn, forza link and credit I've ever owned. In conclusion, I've lost the level, progression, accolades, car tunes and Forza Points. But I've recovered the cars and the credits.

[/b]Note to everybody: BACKUP LOCALLY YOUR SAVEFILES![/b]

This game is still full of bugs that MAYBE in the near future will be fixed. Sadly, it is 4 months after the release and they haven't resolved the main bugs.

Now, after a year, the game still have issues. But it's ok.
