A simcity4 clone with better graphics.

A simple game for casual relaxation.

I can't enjoy it as there is literally no challange, but it does what it tries to do well enough.

Don't excpect any level of depth to this game, this isn't a simulator, this is a sandbox game. Economic mechanisms too complex for elementary schooler to grasp are absent. Different cultures are just aesthetic, the city development always proceeds in the same fashion. Seasons are aesthetic too(literally no influence on city development, electricity usage, farming or anything at all), and there are no hostile/rival cities or players to compete against, so if you screw up you can just take few steps back, raze all the money eating buildings and structures and rebuild.

The economy is so oversimplified it hurts. You can see how much income you get from "industry" in general, but you can't see how much income you get from each specific business or even type of business at all. Also farming and woodoworking industry giving more "tax income" than "generic industry" is complete and utter bs.

The civic policies are..here. But they are fewer than in simcity4, and frankly speaking, quite boring and don't accunt to much.

Terraforming, zones, road building are all just like in simcity. The game has no ambition to be anything different than what sold well over a decade ago and we-the players-are yet to see a complex and realistic city building simulator game.

Also the music is relaxing, tho repetitive. I advice modding the music files.

I was really unsure whether I should give it a thumbs up or thumbs down. In the end I settled on the latter as the game, ok as it is, simply didn't fulfil my own personal expectations.
