it's a very fun mil sim game with less of the sweat or hardcore nature to it most players are on the main mode which is nations at war tho the player base on public servers are low only about 150 in one server at a time while most others are empty and the WW1 mode usually gets rarely any players. most people seem to be on private servers but its probably the best casual fun milsim and the only one ive seen set in napoleonic era and WW1.

this is kinda like a mmo-light it has all the skins, weapon upgrading, housing, and world that a mmo would have(probably cuz it use to be a mmo) but in a ARPG where its a coop without the sub or weird micro-transactions. its mostly grinding all the skill tries are just adding numbers and allot of the game-play is going into the same dungeon but with a new twist each time. while that can be boring for some its pretty fun to grind out for new items and levels alone or with friends tho do not expect it to be without bugs rn sometimes quest markers break and dont show up and a few other bugs.

rn the game feels very harsh the water system goes off real time even when you arent playing so you can lose items for not playing after abit and the enemys are very hit scan its a 2 shot kill allot of the time. it feels like the game is harsh twards the player too much where you dont have much of a chance to win a fire fight. (id wait for the game to get patches and updates unless you want the harsh content the game has rn)

(short review: great game with allot of balancing issues and runs amazing on pc)

as of now the game is very fun tho has allot of balancing issues in pvp and pve as many classes feel very weak or super strong in the modes for example sniper(the alt is very situational) and assault(being melee only but doesnt really have much for it when the hard flying enemys are impossible to deal with) have allot of issues in pve while with pvp ive seem many not like heavy(they can be very hard to kill while they kill you easily).

the gunplay and melee combat is very fun and theres some cool combos you can do with melee if you primarily want to do that which you will be doing melee allot the harder the difficulty is mostly from how ammo gets more hard to find. this is probably the best warhammer shooter out with so much to do i could see it being a game people put hours into and still have somthing to do.

the game was starting very well it was a bo3 type mp with a rogue like coop mode but recently the devs have talked about going fully into crypto and nfts so the steam version will be deleted for a epic games version so they can go full web3. its sad they are going fully into trying to make more money over gameplay or fun.

update: as of 2025 now they have decided to go away from NFTs and crypto to make it a singleplayer paid game with the NFT version on epic losing support and the multiplayer going offline later this year. (this game just needs to die at this point its changed around too much)

just as chaotic as helldivers 1 but more close and personal (there are some bugs tho for me crashes where rare)

after multiple months ive seen no reason to go back to this game while i did hope the game would get better in the long term rn its feeling like the launch of 2 where they need a whole overhaul to fix the game and bring content to bring players back. while i did recommend the game originally sadly time has shown this game needs allot of time and effort to bring me and many players back into it. i had hope the game would get better but sadly rn cant recommend it until their internal team for fixing this game brings it up to expectations and gives me a reason to want to play more

the games fun but very flawed in design its very much like a moba playing the minions and not the powerful gods. many games will just end in seconds with the other team having more powerful gear as much of the game is trying to level your characters and getting better gear to up your stats. that becomes an issue in a PVP game where people who have paid for the items in the battle pass and shop can have a faster start that new players or old players can easily mess up games for old players. being that this is basically a new happy wars like game its to be expected both games have the grind for gear and that slight RNG to the gear. tho not as bad with there being no prize wheels this game shows how that system doesnt hold up well today

Darktide is a very fun co-op shooter if you've played Vermintide everything from that is back in a away from the hoards of easy to kill enemys and the specials like a guy with a flamethrower. the combat feels very good and has some personality like the knife even does a lil flip when your done attacking hordes of papa nurgle infested guys. the objectives are fun they can range from defending a area to scanning an area for items. sadly rn the beta shows allot of issues like crashing, matchmaking stopping, fps dips, and more. with a week and a half till full launch i expect it to be fixed up abit but don't expect it to still not have some issues like the fps issue is from the NVIDIA partnership making some stuff on by default even when it kinda lags the game allot randomly.
