Don't buy this game
Don't support Bethesda and their ♥♥♥♥ peepee god awful business practices.
This game has no reason to be called fallout except to real in stupid people.

Is what I would say. But in genuine honesty, Fallout 4 is just a game that squandered all it's potential. It has moments that are genuinely engaging and enjoyable, but for every one of those you get another quest where you go to a place and kill some people so you can grab an item and bring it to someone. Only for that same person to give you another quest where you go to a place and kill some people so you can grab an item and bring it to them. Ad infinitum. The main story and more importantly the quests, are all sub-par to even games like fallout 1 or 2, which bothered to have quests that can be done in different ways with different goals and sub-goals. Fallout 4 doesn't have that.

What fallout 4 has is probably the most interesting world to just simply explore for your own. There is a reason why most people say that Fallout is "the best walk around boston", because simply putting your radio on and stomping around in the common-wealth is more fun than actually playing the game. Finding weird little monuments or odd places the developers put in is the absolute peak of this game.

If you think you can get plenty of mileage out of exploring a open world, then do yourself a favor and get this game

If you are interested in a game with complex RPG mechanics, narrative, or characters, this game is not it. Even then if you are gonna get it, get it on sale when it's bellow 20 bucks

You bought this game already. Hell you are probably going to keep buying it whenever it comes out on the next console generation. Your grandchildren will probably buy this game. Resident Evil 4 will probably outlive you, your grandchildren, and your grandchildren's grandchildren.

TL;DR emulate this game

For the amount of money you are spending, Dungeon Defenders is a solid tower defense game with rpg elements. There are a few different issues with the game, such as how there as a DLC character that might as well be essential to beating this game without tearing your hair out, because he uses a completely different set of units that don't add up to the total amount. And the combat which is simple to the point of being a little bit boring. But it more than makes up for it with well designed levels that have numourous ways of setting up defenses around, a charming art style and graphics, and a real sense of progression while you play.

I feel like there is a trend with these sequel games, were it's just the original but with more stuff. So from now on I will just refer to such games as that.

It's like Left 4 Dead, but with Melee weapons
