i think the story is good. but overall as a video game this is one of my least favorite rpg ever at this price point. its actually quite buggy and there are definitely some real optimization issues with this game

gameplay wise i cant help but find this game extremely tedious and playing this felt like a chore.

also i played on hardcore difficulty which disables autosaving and lost ~4 hours or progress because the game just refuses to load after a certain cutscene, putting you in an infinite loading screen. apparently its a known issue that existed since the games release in 2018 and was never fixed. no idea why it works when i reached that point for the second time though

idk about the other dlcs but they seem overpriced. i played the hans capon one because the game literally forces you to go through it first before you can finish the main storyline if you have it for some reason. it sucks. the content itself sucks even more. i couldnt be bothered to play the other dlcs after seeing that so i just go end the game right after and probably will never touch the game again

this game is selling itself as something that it is definitely not. its actually just a point and click game.
they didnt do anything interesting with the deckbuilder idea either it seems like they just put the usual roguelike style loot stuff into a card form -> you would be required to manage your cards -> can advertise as game with deck building mechanics.

not really bad but i legitimately can not recommend this game. nothing about it made me feel like it was worth my time playing to experience. also not very good marketing strategy making paid dlcs for this kinda thing

highly recommend playing shenzhen i/o first (more fun imo), then consider getting this game if you still wanted something more afterwards
