Really not liking the combat.
I like the idea of the tribe system, but not being able to grind out being friends with everyone is a bit disappointing.
Lots of wandering around to find basic crafting items is a chore too.

Would not recommend. I'm fairly indifferent on it.

This game has lots to offer. It's keeping my little ADHD brain running around and busy. Very happy with it as is and can't wait to see where it goes from here.

A fantastic Experience and story. As a game it's okay, but I still loved every minute of it. Play with a friend and enjoy a good 4-6 hours of entertainment.

Negative review because the water mechanic. More accurately because of all the people crying over people not liking the water mechanic.

Opening packs is addictive. Hire some clerks to run the store and let rip.
New stuff coming out all the time. Game is chill and just makes you want to play more and more.

Decent city builder. Pretty simple get get into. A lot of the choices for the city seem to be pretty arbitrary based off the political ideas of the creator.
Overall it's fun but gets a little stale as there isn't much to do other than an endless loop of build residentual, build commercial, build industrial, etc. Grab it cheap on sale and have some fun.

At a first glance, Ara is very similar to Civilization. However it's quite different. In Ara the purpose of improving is to gain prestige and become the most notable. The territory system is much nicer than Civ has as well, improvements come easier. The game seems more relaxed and inviting, someone new to the genre might enjoy this more.

The graphics are nice and get the point across well. You can zoom all the way in to see your units on the map, standing in their group. Really enjoy being that neat feature.

As someone with thousands of games, I can still see myself spending quite a bit of time on this. I haven't been playing long but I really enjoy what I'm seeing so far.

Game is pretty chill and slow paced. It's good for what it is. Definitely wait for a sale on the game though.
I enjoyed my time, but I expected more of a fairy-tale story to it all. The interaction with neighbors is minimal. Defending your kingdom is also very simplified. Low replay value here, I don't see most people wanting to play the same thing over and over to get all the marriage achievements.
The game leaves me wanting more and I don't feel like it quite lived up to it's promise.

It's a good game, I see what people like it - I do. But ultimately I can't really recommend it due to the issues I stated.

I always loved Rainbow Six Vegas, and this is a good nod to that. The play is very similar. For being in Early Access the game has had little issues for what I've played so far. The bots are very basic and occasionally have some glitches but nothing that makes the game unplayable. All of the levels and missions have been a lot of fun and I can't wait to see more.

Product no longer works as you cannot contact the master server. Single player still requires to contact the server. Game needs a patch to remove this requirement. Until then it is unplayable.
I believe you can still play with couch co-op in single player, but there are better ways to program this for a shutdown.
