So the game has better graphics than most turn based games.
It wants to be Civ, but play like HumanKind and fails like both.
Warfare has taken an absolute backseat and god forbid you can just play the game and figure it out- you get eliminated if you don't have enough "prestige". So by the end game, there are 3 players.
I would not recommend this game, save your money for CivVII.
I tried to get a refund and couldn't because I was beyond the two hour mark. Everything is micromanaged as far as resources, this is more of a Tycoon than anything.
TWO HOURS is nothing for a game like this.
Don't waste your time.

I opened it up after the mods are added. It's not just mod IO instead of steam workshop but also this is the first ever time I've opened a game in steam linked to MOD IO that requires me to sign up and confirm an account. This is not clear on the store page in any way and I'm damn sick of accounts everywhere. I don't care about idiot who buy things on epic I don't want to play with them I just want the steam workshop. I'm old and I'm cranky.

I really like this game. It's fun. It isn't Civilization, to be sure. But I like the unique concept the cities commanding a "region" that's a bit different from Civ. And like Millennia, it's economy is is a whole lot more complex with an entire world of different goods and resources to handle. The only real downside, is the loading screen. The loading screen takes F.O.R.E.V.E.R! But when it does finally load, it runs smooth as butter.

Definitely a thumbs-up.
