I REALLY love this novel's depiction of automatons, its not the usual "oh look! i suddenly developed sentience, i can now relate to you as a human being :DDD"

Instead it is depicted as something bound by its programming throughout the entire story, it really lunged at my heart whenever she tries to default to a long bygone era, somehow she can sense that's something wrong but its daemon nevertheless keeps her in check in an otherwise desolate world, and that's what makes it really tragic.

Im playing a singleplayer game hoping the other 15 players around the world joins, Its kinda nostalgiac you know, of the times i used to play a questionable copy of payday 2 (back when john wick and hotline miami stuff just got added) on my older brothers computer.
