I'd like to start off by saying that Metro Exodus' environment is an absolutely gorgeous post-nuclear winter wasteland. Unfortunately, this is where the positives end. Perhaps due to the game not being originally written in English, the dialogue is actually ear-grinding. Everything is unnatural, characters awkwardly talking over eachother, too quickly-paced, and overall just poorly written. Because of this issue, it was a quick uninstall and refund for me.

Super cute collectathon that you can beat in a single sitting, but the best part is that you can wear a cowboy hat, 10/10.

I really want to love this game - it's cute, it's aesthetically pleasing, the character customization is perfect, it has all the setup for a great gameplay loop... but it just isn't there yet. It gets repetitive rather quickly (within the span of two hours) between the "quests", the music, and the gameplay itself. This combined with the slow walking speed and no quest log makes it tedious to play, with seemingly no real end goal. I hope this is just an early access issue and not a fundamental issue with the game, as it could have huge potential, so I'll be excited to update this review if/when it improves!
