If the developers spent less time on censorship and political correctness and more time on asset optimisation, maybe the game would run better and not be a 127GB download. Plus the ridiculous price tag, data scraping, constant internet access requirement, microtransactions (more like macrotransactions lmao), compulsory Xbox account, and reversion to full screen every time I start the game. This is indeed a typical Microsoft game and I would not buy it.
Other complaints: The game reverses the turning directions when you're going backwards even if you are pressing the accelerator to go forwards, there seems to be no option to change the units from yankee to the metric system, and I really do not care for a narrative on a car racing game. At least give me a button to skip that crap.
However, there are some features I do like - the open world and that fact that your car can get damaged by your bad driving.
P.S. you can keep playing for free so long as you don't close the game (or it doesn't crash). Just hibernate instead of shutting down your computer.

Played it twice, each time lasted about 5 minutes. Guess i have to check my watch to last longer? Most interesting thing I saw was a black ceiling tile...

This game is dead as ♥♥♥♥, like most Ninja Kiwi games after 2 years. Good fun when you can find teammates though

The developers just haven't got their priorities sorted. They were so eager to rush through a means of censorship and thought policing under the hilariously bad excuse of "safety", and STILL HAVE NOT FIXED game-breaking bugs like the whole game freezing after meetings or dead bodies not despawning. They need to fire the authoritarian and replace them with a better coder. There's just no excuse for this ♥♥♥♥. Get rid of the whole accounts system and "quick chat" which is useless anyway. We don't need it, we didn't ask for it, and it's only caused more problems.
It's just not worth your money.

The buildings are great, however I strongly recommend you get Kaminogi's RICO settings for them (link in the top review). Obviously they couldn't come with RICO settings since not everyone uses that mod. I also got an error (app configuration unavailable) but it seems to have installed anyway. Paradox should have noticed and fixed that, but overall it's a good pack and I like supporting asset creators

By far the best city building game on the market despite the price. No underlying grid. If it did not support mods I wouldn't have bought it though - the mods are what makes this game the best. Anyone screaming about a sequel probably plays vanilla and creates absolute garbage, so don't listen to them

Nexon, if you're reading this, know that the reason you gave for shutting down the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If players didn't like the game they wouldn't be players. Please don't shut down the servers. There are still many thousands of people who really enjoy playing the game, like me.
