As with all early-access games, I know what I signed up for while playing.
In a serious note, the game is a fun pickup and put-down game. Running a GTX980 gpu, you'll run into some performance issues thanks to Unreal5. However, you can still slap reshade on it just fine with minimal impact (shader selection depending) at 720p (which, unlike a lot of power rig users, I can happily tolerate).

They still haven't fixed the chance of blackscreen of blindness in match.
Also, Seasun has failed to comply with Steam's rules of posting an AI Usage Disclaimer on the Demo page description.

Man, I miss Sirius Online

My 5hours of foxhole experience:
Front line is alright, until vehicles are involved. Then have fun trying not to get run over while being yelled at for not shooting or being in a specific spot.
Logistics is a cancerous cesspool of allies. Imagine getting shot by friendlies because you're gathering materials without using a vehicle to harvest.
***MOST*** Veterans of the game I have encountered have no tolerance of "Play around and find out".

Not recommended because of the community. Toxicity is rampant. The game is not the problem, the people who play it are.
Alternatively, seek Planetside2. It's free. You miss out on the hard labor logistics, but it's very much the same core concept.

Nothing special that I haven't seen in many titles, optimization is great.
Really lacking in early game experience. I expected some decent writing but all I got was go here kill that oh no we need a hero cliche game start.
Drops feel.... meh? I guess? No serotonin dispensary here, which is fine.
Closest thing I can call this is a low-effort Toram Online.

This is more of a Dungeon Crawler than an RPG imo.

Overall, it's an alright game, but not alright enough to be slotted into my gaming rotation. If a friend asked, yeah I'd boot it up to play with them.

IT'S BACK AND I LOVE IT

Plays like the Quake genre.
Barebones, but has enough to scratch an itch.
Bots are stupid easy.
I'd give it a thumbs up.

With the introduction to Act3 and many more content updates to the live version, the game is starting to feel a lot more like a souls-like in terms of combat difficulty. The new are is looking rather fitting. However, the lack of storytelling is rampant, and could be improved on tremendously.

Many bugs were squashed and Fireball got the buff it deserved!
Brine Eggs have been balanced and price scale with every day and more rare to find, starting to feel more like a Souls-Like! (You can hate me later for that change)
Started the NewLoop+, and oh my god everything just ramped up in difficulty. Everything has so much more health and I love it!

More enchantments are being voted on in the discord
Spell balancing is happening based on user feedback in the discord
Enemy balancing (giving some enemies a buff) is happening based on user feedback in the discord (I think the game is kinda easy for a souls-like, you can hate me later)
Worms are getting random locations even without being aggro'd (Thanks Threxi0n!)

Slowly becoming my favorite souls-like indie title.
The devs 100% listen and engage with the community.
We can help make this game the best it can be!

I have never been cussed at so much in a game other than this one.
The amount of community salt and berating prevents me from recommending this title.
