Played with a nice Requiem based modlist (such as Lorerim), Skyrim is still the best single player RPG experience available 15 years after its original release.

18 years back I never completed Oblivion due to frustrations with the leveling system.

This has now been fixed and the overhauled graphics and porting of the excellent mods made over the years makes it a joy to experience!

It's addictive and provides a lot of "time spent in front of game" for the money.

I don't feel like it's worth the time though.

Similar vibes to people sitting stuck in front of one armed bandits. So before buying, ask yourself if that's what you want your life to be or if you have better things to spend your time on.

Some more objective critisism:
- The tarot cards are unnecessarily subtle and obscure in their design. It would be trivial to add an icon on them to show exactly what the card does to avoid having to re-read the description of them for the first 40.
- Planet cards could also be more clear, though they're less of a problem than the tarot cards.
- Having to unlock stake levels "per deck" artificially inflates time required for a completionist to beat the game (eg. at an average of 1 hour per game that's 16 decks times 7 stakes = ~112h to unlock Gold stake on all decks).
- The overall game strategy is to work towards playing just a single type of hand over and over for the entirety of the game. The ultimate deck is one containing just a single type of card. Seems like it would have been more interesting if the game encouraged more variety in cards played.

Many clever puzzles. But the mood is too dark and lonely to be enjoyable. I saw it through to the end due to hearing so much hype, and hoping that the ending would turn out to be uplifting or interesting. But by the time you get there you've already figured out what happened.

There is clearly some very talented designers at Simogo. I hope they can pour their creativity into a less depressing game next time.

Most fun I've had in a fighting game. Ranked online matches and practice mode makes progressing and getting better as a player really enjoyable.

Like Dark Souls but bigger. So what's not to like?

Only critique would be wikis being almost essential to make progress in sidequests and fall damage formula being somewhat idiotic.
