I know this game has had some heat, but I love it. It's Starship Troopers, but better at being Starship Troopers than Starship Troopers was. Would you like to know more?

I love it. A considered and better version of the original, with interesting mechanics for the different races that changes the play style.

Having played the original XCom game on the Amiga back in the 90s, I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of the updated version. My anticipation was not misplaced. This game is fantastic.

This game is surprisingly good. I'll be honest, I've found the Warhammer themed games can be a bit hit and miss in the past, but this one comes up Milhouse. It's tough, even on standard difficulty, and takes quite a while to complete each mission as a particular race. Playing as the different races also feels pleasingly new, so you can't adopt the same play style with the Space Marines as you would with the Necrons, for example.

If you like turn based strategy combat, give it a whirl. Even if you're not a warhammer fanboi (I am not), it's a great play.

This game is incredibly addictive. Great art style, and very challenging. It will certainly keep you engaged for some time, especially with the free updates that the developers are putting out for the game. Buy it, and regret that you don't get around to doing the things you should be doing in your life, because you're playing Oxygen Not Included too much.

I came across ISLANDERS in the Steam Summer Sale, and what a great purchase it was. It is a combination of relaxing and deeply challenging. You'll find yourself starting off thinking it's fairly easy to earn points by placing the various buildings, but if you stay on an island for long enough, it turns into a real brain buster. Definitely something that you would find yourself dipping into on a regular basis. With a great art style and accompanying sound track, it's perfect for an evening chill down.
