Amazingly detailed route, really invites to explore the stations.

Make sure to keep an eye on additional layers to have a more immersive and lively timetable.

Early Access Review
inZOI, the slated Sims killer. I mean how would that even be possible for an Early Access (EA) release life simulator whereas the Sims 4 franchise has been in active development for 11 years. What have you even been thinking/hoping for?

I feel like this comparison is actively undermining the player retention and gaming experience as inZOI offers a far different style of gaming, also it’s still Early Access (!!!), please keep that in mind when playing inZOI. (Anyone remember how Sleeping Dogs lost momentum by constantly getting comparred against GTA V? It was meant as a triology, a great franchise lost to undermining comparisons).

To be honest, it took me a while to *really* get into inZOI, even though the initial Zoi builder tutorial is straightforward and let’s you to move into your first place right away, there’s a lot to unpack.

The realistic graphics felt overwhelming at first but you get used to it, the worlds are detailed and offer true open world exploration (WASD keys are your friends here, you can literally explore the entire world on foot, pop into a cafe etc).

The building system is alright for EA, however I hope to see snapless placement for all items as for some, the system doesn’t let you do that. Item-wise, you’ll find all the basics but I hope to see more official items getting added in future updates.

However, the Canvas offers a vast array of free clothing/furniture/premade builds, made by the community. Downloading is easy and fun (the main menu PC screen shows you whats happening) and adding new items can be done from any other device that has access to Canvas, items are queued for download until the next time you open up inZOI.

PRO tip: The default game time is 96 minutes, I love the realism but in my opinion, it’s too slow for what the game currently has to offer. I’ve put it to 48 minutes, which positively increased my gaming experience. Maybe the 96 minutes are too slow paced in general, even for the most coziest, patiently gamers.

As stated earlier, the game is Early Access, so my current review reflects that. For example, the different careers feels empty and somewhat tedious, so I hope that’ll see some updates before the public release. (I already opened a feature request for that) but I felt the need to post this generally positive review in the hopes of offering people another perspective into the game.

About the generative AI: KRAFTON and inZOI Studio both are very open about how they incorporated AI into inZOI. I feel like the outrage is a bit disproportionate as it powers a few nifty features like the SmartZOI, thanks to NVIDIA Ace. It also offers an easy 3D printer to imagine your own furniture. It’s not like the -entire- game was AI coded and generated, it’s too detailed and stable for that. I love we’re not blindly adopting AI into our lives and minds but to a certain degree it can offer an immersive gameplay and is completely optional if you don’t want to tap it that. (And this opinion comes from someone who’s mindful and critical about using AI).

So join the Discord, join the newly launched forum, drop all your ideas, bug reports or just about anything what could make inZOI even better.

Great DLC still. Love the ambience of this route with many timetabled service available. Would love to see more passengers boarding the trains, though.

Yes! Great addition to TSW 4. Great scenery and DTG did well on the Class 710. One of the best DLC out there in my opinion, albeit being a short route.

Two updates should make this even better: Integration of CCTV in the cabs and automatic annoucements to further increase immersion.

Now with the Aventra’s added, I hope to see the Elisabeth Line come to life in TSW.

Great job! Thanks

Early Access Review
Post v1.0 Review

Wow what an achievement Cannias and team! I remember the EA launching like it was only a few weeks ago, already loving what Supermarket Simulator had to offer.

It’s amazing to have seen the game grow organically by adding a team, adding new features and fixes while having an ever-growing active community behind it all.

And now the game has finally left Early Access and has entered into production, amazing job!!! Thank you for your continued support and completing v1.0, many great ideas die off in EA as it can get overwhelming very fast, the more when going viral almost instantaneously so I’d like to thank you and your team for powering through!

Take care 🫶

Early Access Review - 14/03/2024
This game is absolutely amazing. As it being an early access, it's still fairly bare bones but I don't have an explanation why I keep coming back. It's a relaxed game and there is no rush in expanding the store or the storage area, and I love to check out customers. Much more fun than in an earlier student employment haha.

Updates are issued on regular basis and it's an amazing achievement this game is being developed by only one (amazing) dev! Kudos and keep up the good work!

I have mixed feelings about this expansion pack. I was really looking forward to add trams to my network, but for the moment much is left to be desired.

EDIT 20/11/2023: DLC works as intended on the Angel Shores map. Still not functional on the Seaside Valley map.

I usually don’t post negative reviews as I don’t like to criticise the developers but as of 14/11/23 and as an early buyer, the DLC left me frustrated which made me stopped playing altogether.

I’m currently stuck at the first mission due to a bug at the last stop of tram route 1 (Cathedral - City Center in Seaside Valley); making it impossible to call at said stop rendering the route useless as it can’t be deleted or altered before completing the task.

PRO/CONS

Firstly the positive sides of this expansion

1. The included trams are nicely modelled, I’m not sure if they’re based on real-life models but it’s acceptable.

2. A nice and new feature has been added in the trams, showing real-time in-game information about the stopping pattern when driving the tram yourself. (Would love to see that being introduced in all vehicles).

3. Extra tram-only stops are included which lessen the pressure on densely used bus stops.

4. The cab is highly detailed albeit missing the option to open the windows (buttons non-functional)

5. Newly added driving sounds (I love the tram bell!) and track rattle

6. When buying this DLC, players will receive the full and tram-only simulator when it comes out. (Nice!)

Lastly the negative sides of this expansion

1. Some sounds (door closing beep, indicators) have been recycled from the stock Citaro busses, which is a no-go and unacceptable when asking €19,99 (currently 15% off as of writing) and personally diminishes the fun and realism while driving the trams.

2. Trackwork is unfinished and doesn’t look that great: On some parts of the network, trackwork suddenly disappears into the road, is malaligned, is too curved (some curves are 45 degrees or more) and options are limited due to one-way switches or having to drive around across town to reach a stop. (not in the one way streets of course, makes fully sense)

Also, in the current setup, the tracks are placed on top of the roads instead of being ingrained into the roads as seen in any major tram network. (all bikers will know the hassle while crossing those tracks)

3. Only 1 tram is included (actually there are two included but an extra door and a bit more length doesn’t really count as two for me)

4. Passengers are reaching for their phones, which is great for realism but while doing so, their arms stick out through the windows.

5. The announcements in the trams don't work. Next stop; _____ and nothing comes after. (Only on the Seaside Valley map)

6. No tail lights, whenever the tram is driving, the tail lights aren't illuminated

7. Buggy, not being able to finish the first mission has been a downer as I was looking forward for this DLC.

Extra

8. I don’t understand why we need to create an extra bus route to connect the trams as there are plenty already.

9. After purchasing the DLC and opening the game after downloading, I got a Steam error stating that the content was not published.

Suggestions

1. Steering left or right to operate the switches is fine but instead of an animation showing the chosen direction; couldn’t it be possible to develop signals instead? Showing \ for left, | for straight ahead and / for right as in real-life?

2. Start listening to the community; there are many bug reports in the discussion section that are left untouched by the developers.

Apologies for the bad review, but for now this DLC isn’t worth purchasing. I truly hope to see some patches and extra content soon and I’ll be most happy to update this review to reflects the positive changes and to increase the review rating.

Amazingly detailed, the tram looks as lifelike as it gets. The city is vibrant and beautifully designed. I would recommend. Instead of giving negative reviews, see this as the base game instead. It's obvious this will get more routes and trams in the future. Keep up the good work!

I love the new guiding system! Easy but fun enough to reach the tiers and receive some bucks. Can’t wait for more updates because the late-game becomes a bit boring. Keep up the good work!

TRANSPORT FEVER
------------------------------------------

Transport Fever is a great successor of Train Fever.
I've been playing Train Fever for ages now, so I was really excited for this new installment.

Transport Fever is great, you will have a lot of variety. I downloaded it right away because I wanted to check out the new UI and start creating beautiful airports and connect them all. (This is now possible with Transport Fever).

I can't understand why people are rating down this masterpiece! Agreed, there are a lot of bugs right now but I'm sure the devs are really trying to fix these problems. (HINT: Check the forum if you got any problems with start-up or with black textures, I can assure you those tips will help you out. So stop rating down, I want to see game updates coming our way. Which won't be possible when rating down the game, new customers will have their doubts when seeing the 'Mixed Rating. (Still better than No Man's Sky though).

REVIEW
------------------------------------------

PRO
Overall I would give this game a 8,5/10.
- Great variety of trains, trams, busses, planes, boats and trucks.
- Some legacy products included as well. (TGV, Airbus, Boeing)
- Graphics and textures are great. (Way more vivid than they used to be in Train Fever).
- Updated stations. (Terminal stations are now included as well. (a station can fit 8 tracks now instead of 5).
- Better trackage of the trams. (They will automatically route theirselves so they won't stick to each other all the time).
- Bigger tram station. (Needless to say you can build bigger city networks now).
- New U(ser)I(nterface). (Finding things are way more logical than they used to be in Train Fever) For existing players: At first you will need to get used to this new UI, but after a few minutes you're good to go!

CONTRA
Although I love the game, there are some changes that are irritating me A LOT.
- Buildings don't snap automatically to roads anymore, meaning you will have to rotate the buildings yourself now. But you can almost never align them with streets or tracks. Especially for those who have OCD, this will make you go in meltdown real fast.
- Some trains from Train Fever have been removed. (For those who prefer trains more than planes, this will become a problem for you. But you get a Boeing 737-757 and an Airbus A320 instead. The game engine is not infinite, otherwise you would need to have a supercomputer. (Give and take).
- Bad support on Intel Graphics. (Just mentioning, this can be fixed with the patch released on 10/11 or by updating your system).
- Black tiles in-game, I really do mind because this messes with the beautiful landscape of the map. (I'm sure the devs will fix this as well, so don't let that back you away)!

I want to thank Urban Games for this new installment. Please continue to deliver the best-of-the-best as I'm (and almost everyone) are pleased with this update.

If you want to have more information about this game, don't hesitate to contact me through IM.

Have a nice day y'all!

Greetings from Belgium, EU.
