EDIT: I have changed my review to positive because I'd be a hypocrite for still playing this godforsaken game. It is still fun to play with friends, albeit with issues.

After playing over 600 hours, this game decided to glitch out and wipe all of my levels back to 0. Wonderful. I was able to tolerate the extreme amount of crashing and bugs this game has, but having my levels wiped made me move on to other games. (for the most part)

The biggest thing that pissed me off was that this game's own documentation says that if no other fixes work from their sparse list of possible fixes, the "fix" for your levels being reset to 0 is to reset your levels to 0!! Unreal.

This is the final paragraph from their support website:

"If some of your perks have gone to 0 but not all of them or they appear to no longer be progressing at all it is likely that your stats have become corrupted and the game is failing to update them. The only way to fix this is to reset your stats on Steam. You can trigger this by opening the game console ( ` ) key by default, and typing:

resetstats "YourSteamNameHereInQuotations"

This will reset your perks to 0, and you will be able to progress normally from this point. We are not able to manipulate your perks to a previous point."

https://support.killingfloor2.com/en/steampc-knowledgebase/article/perks-fail-to-progress-reset-to-zero-0-or-revert-to-an-earlier-state

Again, this is insane that they'd suggest this as a fix.

If you can get this game on sale, you have friends to play with and you can tolerate a large list of bugs and micro transactions, it might be worth buying; otherwise, avoid this game.
