Took 220 hours to figure out how to get to earlymid-game. Probably near the top of the list of my favorite management games. Gas, liquid, and temperature management brings new layers of flavor to the genre when you're only used to food-centered colony management games.

One year later, I still love this game. Every time I come back to it, I find something new to fall in love with. Since I last played and reviewed this game at 220 hours, the game has had so many new things added to it, but I have yet to even see all the old stuff. This is one of those games I refuse to look up tutorials for and recommend that if you play, that you do the same. Every time I play I fail, but I also learn a new or more efficient way to survive and I get just a little bit further.

TLDR: Game makes me feel dumb, but forces me to get smarter through trial and error, like I'm a kid again.

I never write reviews; however over the course of a few hours, I feel as if have experienced several years. If you're looking for an emotional story without words nor storyteller, then GRIS gives that to you with audio, visuals, and feelings.
