I took a punt with this one and honestly was expecting to be disappointed.

Having now finished the game I have to say I found it very interesting.

The story is engaging and branches out with different smaller plot points.
I very much enjoyed the chatter of the crew.

The visuals and music are great

There are some smaller bugs and annoyances like your weapons shooting when you interact with the map or the ship builder being jank at times but overall I can say that theres good gameplay here and I very much enjoyed my time with this game.

Well crafted

This game could be fun but i just found it annoying.

Not being able to save mid run means having to commit to much time at once.
Also being constantly followed by the storm means you cant take your time and pretty much have to rush every level to leave as soon as possible. Its just not fun tbh.
The only time i had fun was with the Stable reality modifier where i didnt have to do that.

- Requires ubisofts own stupid launcher
- Upgrading weapons suck because every upgrade requires the use of gunpowder wich is way more rare than any other crafting materials in the game
- Stupid "this area is a higher level so all the enemies have three times the health for no reason"
- Sitting in a vehicle or on a horse restricts the FOV to around 80, regardless of what you set it at
- Characters are just annoying

A great little game about chess but with different rules and cheating. Lots of fun though quite short.

A negative is that sometimes chess pieces can be below some UI elements, making clicking on the right thing difficult.

Quite boring and missing both polish and performance improvements

This game has the most horrific DLC policy ever.
If you want to play as all factions you need to own all previews games (Warhammer 1 and 2) and all DLCs for each of those games.

God this game is fun.

Its basically a dungeon crawler with the wandcrafting mechanics of noita.
So get staffs with differents attributes, get different spells and get modifiers and start going nuts.
The great gameplay is accompanied by good music and great enemies.

Cant wait for the next update

Bad UI and some bad inventory management

I really really want to recommend this game because its unique and quite fun but ive experienced so much jank and bugs that i cant.

- Plants sometimes fail to spawn in after teleporting requiring a restart
- Though perfomance got better its still questionable (Around 60, sometimes drops to 30 fps on a 4080 at 4K with some settings on second to highest setting and the rest on highest)
- Running up stairs sometimes pushes the camera way down below your character so you cant see where youre going
- Questmarker and other map markes disappeared after a restart. Havent been able to get them back
- You can clip into objects while climbing (minor, happened only once to me)

I will probably come back and try again after some patches
