Promising idea, but only about 2 hours of content. You will win without any real effort or control of things.

Addictive

Boring gameplay, easy puzzles, grating sounds.

I wanted to like this game, I really did. It's not a bad game, not at all, its just nothing special.
The combat is bare bones, with many games just doing it better. The story is bare bones. The shop mechanics are bare bones, with some of its unique features just being annoying (theives). The upgrades are bare bones and poorly explained, like why I would take an elemental weapon over a raw damage one, or why heavy equipment slowing me down matters when I seem to dodge just fine.

Bare bones but fine would be my short review, which might normally even earn a recommend, but the bugs dropped it down. Too many times did the game freeze, a couple of times it crashed, twice it teleported me to a boss room but in a corner I cound't move or attack. Just before writing this an enemy became unkillable which prevented me from leaving the room without spending money to teleport back to town and start the dungeon over.

Find something better to play.

I love this game! Haven't finished it yet, as of writing this, but I am entranced.
Pillars of Eterny was interesting. Divinity: Original Sin was fun. But Tyranny, this is my new favorite. It might even end up in my top 5 favorites, depending on how it finishes.

Fun combat, interesting companions, intriguing setting and story. If you are a RPG fan you got to play this one.

Update: Just finished first run through and still loved it. Top 10 rpgs for me.
Gonna buy the DLC and play it agian sometime soon.

Strange concept but addictive.

attacks felt slow and chunky. Hard to get into a full match.

Played during free weekend.

Starts strong but makes less and less sense as time goes on until it just kinda ends.

Gets dull fast
