Many people see The Outlast Trials as something like 'Outlast 3' or compare it to the other 2 titles, and therefore are disappointed. But this is a mistake.

The Outlast Trials is a completely different game and should be seen as such.

While it still is enjoyable in single-player, I highly recommend playing it with at least one friend. Running from enemies while getting to the next objective is much more fun when there are other players trying to survive the madness of the trials.

The enemy AI is pretty predictable, but that's not a bad thing. The variety of enemies is decent, in every area you have at least one enemy that is ready to chase you.
