If you Activate All mirror modes and place Triangles of equal size for example 2x2x2 they will allow to be placed halfway into eachother do that for top and bottom and you get an 8x stack for quick, but it isnt Automerge sage, to make it safe you'd have to colour each corner Individually with a different colour at best each corner being a different material / armor / hull.
