Do not buy this game, the developer is accused of being a pedophile and the evidence seems legit. While its a fine game on its own, buying this game would mean supporting the developer and supporting a pedophile.

With Battlefield 6 on the horizon, the future of this game looks more grim than ever. The developers caught lightning in the bottle with this game and refused to harness it in a meaningful way. It really is a shame because I've had fond memories with this game, but I can't see this game having a revival even with the supposed "rework" coming out at some point. Don't buy this and don't support these developers.

Stupid but fun game, if it was optimized and had better squad AI it would be great

It's a great game and very fun, but the player base is virtually nonexistent outside of certain discord groups. That alone makes it a very hard sell since this game shines with full lobbies. The developers should maybe lower the price or put the game on sale more often to help revive the community. I'm still recommending this game because I hope it does revive at some point.

From what I've played so far it's pretty funny, not in a good way. It's bad and deserves all the ♥♥♥♥ it's been getting. But I have been playing it with a friend and we've had fun just laughing at all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the game. Definitely would not recommend seriously, but as a "so bad it's good" game, I would. Just get it on sale or through other means, in no universe is this game worth 30 dollars.

It's a good game but the backrooms ♥♥♥♥ was so stupid it deserves a negative review just for its inclusion

The removal of workshop makes this game feel so much more barebones. There used to be so many unique gamemodes and maps made by the community that you just can't play anymore because the devs wanted to be more open to consoles. This game is past its golden age and not worth playing anymore. Very sad because I had great memories with this game and met a lot of interesting people.

This is one of the best VR horror games, and I enjoy revisiting it every now and then. Only real issue is that once you know how the game's mechanics and enemies work, it becomes very easy. If you want an actual challenge you need to enable a bunch of modifiers before starting a new game.

Absolutely insane that this is the same people who made the Total War franchise. The alien AI in this game is so good that it makes you wonder how the ♥♥♥♥ the AI in the Total War games is so consistently bad.

Has some of the worst UI you'll ever see in a video game, controls terribly, an insane amount of QTEs, the story is ridiculous even for resident evil standards, and completely lacks any of the horror aspect the series was known for.

Even with all of this, the game gives you this morbid curiosity to keep playing it just to find out what ridiculous and over-the-top thing these out of touch Japanese devs will make you play through. It's kind of like watching a car crash...

I'd recommend playing this with a friend to experience this travesty. If there's ever any games I would consider "so bad it's good", it's this one
