Finally brought forth with modern resolutions and still somewhat retarded AI, Dragonshard is a great RTS. Reccommended for fans of BFME1 and micromanagement RTS fans. Your soldiers aren't an army, they are a party of heroes and you must treat them as such. Losing a troop is costly and getting gold is perhaps the biggest pain of all.

If I were to rebalance the game I would cut all unit costs to a tenth of their cost, but as it stands the game contradicts itself sometimes (you need several of the same unit to upgrade it beyond level 2, but you can't really take advantage of combining different skills if you all your units are the same, and this makes healers really not worth upgrading), but it has charming visuals, an interesting Eberron story, great soundtrack and very fun details. Easy reccommend.

It's like the OG Delta Force games. Very fun it you like those. In many ways it inherits a little bit of the first Spec Ops too.

Awesome spritework, awesome music and sound, satisfying gunplay. The golden triumvirate of FPS!

Great concise little FPS. Could it need expanding upon with it's systems, level design and a more standard save system? Yes, definitely.

But does that counteract all the game does right? Absolutely not. Brilliant pieces here and there carry an otherwise forgettable experience and turn it around into a developer you'll want to see how he grows and develops. Very excited for the future of this solo dev!

In many ways the best release from DMG so far. Bit longer and even harder than most of their games but super engaging. Every level is challenging and visually dynamic and exciting. From large villages, to crypts down to the underworld, there's a ton to explore.

Visually engaging, exploration and map usage great as well. HORRIBLE unresponsive melee combat and horribly timed crusher rooms and input delays turn this otherwise interesting art-house title into a frustrating exercise in repetition.

Excellent ARPG with depth, a slow pace and viscerally brutal combat!

Potion management is everything here and you have to strategise to make it through. Peak from corners, explore rooms slowly, use archery, swords and spells. Everything here is tightly designed and part of the overall ride.

Limited merchants that you find on specific levels, enchantment shrines, item merging, healing fountains, everything is useful and needs to be managed.

For fans of the slower paced Diablo 1 experience, this matches it perfectly, down to the way it spirals into more violent combat as you progress deeper into the tower.

I am excited to see what this developer does next!!!! I wanted more ARPGs in the style of Diablo 1 and finally I have a title that delivers on that promise!

Outstanding game. It never outstayed its welcome, played on Challenging difficulty which is the default. I could easily have gotten 40-50 hours if I wanted to explore and get absolutely everything, but the beauty of this game is not in its mechanical depth, nor on its length and neither on the size of the world...

IT. IS. ALL. ABOUT. DEPTH!

It was exceedingly enjoyable to explore, there are loose ends everywhere but you always know what matters and what is most important. No quest feels like a side quest.

This game has skills but it is certainly not a RPG, nor is it just a FPS. What this game is really, is the most core design pillar adventure game, reminiscent of the earliest adventure games. It gave me flashbacks to the first wasteland and even Redguard. It's simply a great adventure game. You are an adventurer roaming these places and finding all that you need to find + some more you want to find.

This game won't be for everyone but the many clever details with enemy AI behaviours, the variety of interesting side stories, how absolutely every sideplot benefits the progression of the main story just gave me a lot of joy!

Absolutely absurd fun!

Not a huge fan of the perk limiter or the fact that repairing fences doesn't reward coins, but the core loop is excellent. Needs a bit of extra oomph in terms of zombie variety and levels, but looks and feels very promising!
