its fun. the guns feels shooty, the swords feel impactful, the hammers feel weighty. it has a great deal of issues, mostly stemming Fatshark being Fatshark, meaning broken promises and endless delay in feature implementation.

2025 edit: Game is really fun. more than it was before. the game underwent severe overhauls leading to better gameplay, better and more significant choices for the skill tree of each class. Combat can range from walk in the park at lowest difficulty to sweating your nuts off on Auric Maelstrom difficulty.

new game mode were added: Stephony's Rogue-lite Gauntlet offers player to fight off waves and waves of enemies, occasionally offering objectives to complete and resupplies, of which you have to fight for of course. its honestly the better way to level characters nowadays and highly recommended.

Then there's a game mode that was introduce before Stephony's gauntlet which I have no idea what it is since I've not had the chance to play it because you need a 4-man group and I have no friends. apparently it makes Auric Maelstrom eat its heart out in terms of difficulty
