It's good.
Not at the same level as Shadowbringers or Endwalker, but I wasn't really expecting that anyway.

Also: Wuk Lamat is, in fact, not a terrible character.

Ever played the original Digimon World on PS1?

This game is basically that, except you have two Digimon to take care of at the same time.
Though (thankfully) the game is much more transparent when it comes to what stats you actually need than the original PS1 game was.

Definitive version of one of the top PS1 JRPGs, well worth your time and money.

Performance issues aside... this is a good, if unfinished, game.
Not as good as Star Ocean 2 or 3, but still a good game in it's own right.

If getting the game on PC though, recommended to make sure the game will run on your system before you buy it.

stop going into 30+ duties without your job crystal equipped.
other than that, cool game.

definitely worth the couple hours i've got in it
