Even though I like the game, I cannot recommend it in good conscience as it is riddled with bugs. Have been playing this series of games for years and it feels like there is barely more than a reskin every release, with little to none fixing of issues.

Buy it for the trading cards/badge, it has nothing else to offer.

Got some really interesting mechanics and choice progression. You can be a game detective and see some neatly made areas!

I have been playing Football manager since 2005 and I've seen a lot of ups and downs throughout the years, and this is by far (imo) the most polished and advanced version. The stats analysis both during and before/after matches is a game changer for optimizing your team. It gives even more weight on what kind of staff are you looking for, and what kind of players you want to get in the team to help see your vision through.

Overall I'd recommend it for fans of this type of game, albeit it still has some flaws that can hopefully be improved on.

Pros:
-Proper progression so it doesn't take too long or too short to unlock everything.
-Can skip animations with a right click.
-Good time balance between repairing, removing/adding objects.
-The Mechs look really good and their item placement makes sense.
-You can paint and add decals and customize any Mech.

Cons:
-Painting can be a pain sometimes. They need to add the option to fill a specific part instead of everything.
-UI is somewhat clunky.
-Graphics are outdated. I expected something better for "Ultra" quality. Just an anti-aliasing option would make a ton of difference.
-A lot of travel time between stations. You have a tablet that you can take jobs with but when you have missions you need to go back to your station and switch mechs around.
-Calibration station was just used once for the tutorial. It's not that fun.

A thumbs up for this price point. Please improve those quality of life things. The game has great potential to become a franchise and it needs loyal recurring players to do so.

Fun game, if you like tech and sims, you'll find some interest in it.
