A huge open world rpg with character developement and consequences-all depend on your playstyle.

You can't compare it with the Gothic series,as you don't get the feeling,you get an entirely new one.

+++interesting mainquest with many surprises

++the end of the mainquest does not mean the end of your game

+/- Companions can dodge but not block
+/-Many different enemies with different skin but with the same attacks
+/- 4 climate zones,but npc's dont care 'bout their environment->no reaction if it's raining,or whatever

-- you MUST join one of the 3 factions to continue with your story JUST to get better gear,even though you can already kill everything in the map...
--Berserkers,Outlaws or clerics. Everyone of them felt kind of "meh",at least berserkers have a good plan of what to do
---killed the endboss with 3 hits, some normal enemies proved to be harder
-the game felt most of the time dead/freezed,nothing happens if you don't move your ass somewhere and get **** done
-near endgame my game started to crash(started midgame) more often without a reason,but you can still finish the story
-bad AI,companions attack only when you attack or got hit,some even just stroll around during a fight,yes i mean you Ray
--graphical bugs
--glitches & clipping
---NPC,hairstyles and voice recycling,around 4-5different faces(for ~200 npc's) or less
--camera makes your fights much harder as they would be,died too many times because of that

Even though it's very different from Mass effect 1,it's pretty similiar of the game mechanics and story developement.
I'd suggest to try it out,there aren't many games like this out there.
Overall i'd rate it with a 7.25/10
