the fog of vanilla with no mods and the view distance limitations is an element of the game that has always felt tied into the lore of the game and the storm of Red Mountain that covers Vvardenfell, and it feels as though you're enveloped in this constant fog from the beginning of the game.

it does. if Bethesda re-released their games i would like them to keep the fog settings as an option, for the feeling they give, and for people who want to delve into the game's lore deeper, and have a more immersive experience.
