For me this satisfied the classic survival horror craving with challenging and entertaining puzzles, inventory management and ugly baddies. The story and themes and ways of expression heavily reminded of evangelion and silent hill. Truly a gem worth every penny.
Ending, just like in silent hill, is determined by how you performed in the game and not base don any choice, so some endings might not feel satisfying

Nostalgia relived.
Everything is perfect, only downside was that the controls would fail me on occasion, I used retro setting for my ps4 controller and sometimes it just wouldn't listen or the camera would go off on it's own.

I have been waiting for this since DMC3, it really brings back the atmosphere form the old games while upgrading the combat and gameplay to the standards of 2019

Really helps Kyrie relieve back tension, accurate description

This game was a very pleasant suprise for me. I have played ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of RPGs in my day and I am fairly used to the RPG choices that I get to make do not matter at all in the end, but not in this game!!!
The sidequests were really smart, I could barter with the NPC and my choices in my sidequests impacted my surroundings.
If you love JRPGs I really recommend this one!
