Known as a very 'toxic' and 'grindy' game, but honestly so fun. You get an easy 250+ hours even if you are Free-To-Play, and when you do decide to drop 26 pity-dollars on DLC during Christmas Sales, it becomes such a big world of opportunity.
Yeah, you'll run into toxic tea-baggers, teammates who quit mid-raid or mid-crucible match, but that describes almost any game as well. Totally recommend if you're ever looking for a new game to pick-up. Do not expect picking up this game to be easy.
Definitely watch Destiny 2 Youtubers as well to get a feel for how competitive and large-scale PVE/PVP can operate.
This game makes almost any veteran mad at some times, but somehow I always come back to it.
