incredibly charming and beautiful, wish there was something between recommended and not-recommended i could put it between, because this is Really good but it is also incredibly frustrating in many ways

you should wait for full release if possible, but very promising

one of very few games which don't require a strong narrative to be absolutely phenomenal

it's pure gameplay with just ONE* soundtrack that has never gotten old despite 170 hours of playtime.

at some points there are roadblocks in form of luck, but oftentimes strategy is rewarded, and the player has a lot of agency to affect how the game progresses.

game is fantastic, labbing was incredibly fun
ivy (developer) and the game's discord server regulars have however been annoying and unnecessarily cruel at least as of December 2023, so i'd suggest avoiding this

it's very good! it does however have an incredible amount of bugs and glitches which make the game annoying, or at worst; unplayable.

there was one bug where one of my party members disappeared completely, and i thought that maybe it was plot-related, or that there were some deeper lore to it; nope! it was an irreproducible bug that just got rid of a lot of progress (all the items Wyll carried)

the devs do however put a lot of love into the game, but it is a highly-ambitious game; both sides show!
maybe an 8/10, give or take.

free play would be so nice if not for the unbearable performance and lag
learning the ropes is very fun, just frustrating once you get a lot of airports

fantastic use of godot shaders. gameplay elements are explained through experimentation. fantastic sound design and gamefeel. unlocking system keeps it simple for your first time and opens a lot of doors for creative play later on.

might be a little difficult for casual gamers to play and enjoy, but if resource and time management is your thing this is a great experience

It's quite expensive and has a lot of game-breaking bugs though -- if patched including QoL features and fixing stuff that doesn't work, it may be a solid game.

The grapevine also foretells of a company dealing with crunch and other bad business practices.

it's fun, it's free, but while i would recommend it, i fear there is a heavily addicting element bc it's super easy to get into, so having picked this up less than 24 hours ago, all my waking hours have essentially been while playing this game. This is not a good thing. (but the game is good, just be wary if you could get addicted to this) There is no monetary danger of addiction, which is a positive! There is DLC, but there is a filter such that F2Ps cannot play with P2Ws unless they change their settings.

pile of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, waste of money and time (71.6 hours of it), felt forced to play the game just because:

* it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ expensive
* completing seasonal pass through marginal gain of experience points
